The countdown is on to the opening of the 19th Annual Celebration of Fine Art! In just over two weeks we will open our doors and welcome our friends - new and old - to the “big white tents”! 100 Artists from around the country will be ready to share their creative energy and latest works of art with you when you come through the door!

Jake and his crew have been working hard to get the tent up, the walls set up, the electrical installed , putting the cafe together and moving LOTS of stuff and all of the other little details that go into the “set up” prior to the artists coming in. The office girls have been busy with all of the office details that need to be done. A lot of people ask us what we do the rest of the year, the answer to that is “a lot”! I’ve never been blessed with having a child, but I would venture to say that the 9 months in between the closing down of one show and preparing for the next may be a little bit like the anticipation of having a new child! By about this time we are all just ready for the fun to start! Well, and maybe a little less sleep too, but we love every minute of the days under the big tent with our awesome artists and the fabulous patrons who have become part of the family!

As you read this, artists are finishing up new works, loading trailers, driving across country, sending out invitations, placing orders with Home Depot for the many supplies they need for when they arrive and begin to make their Celebration of Fine Art studios their home away from home for 10 weeks and counting the days until they see you. We wish them all safe journeys as they make their way to Scottsdale. Soon the hugs will begin as old friends reunite under the big tents. New artists will walk in for the first time to begin a life changing experience as part of the Celebration of Fine Art.

And just a few days later, on Friday, January 16 it will be you -our patrons and friends who we will be welcoming to the Celebration of Fine Art. Until then, we wish you all the best as you begin a brand new year!
